The issue of enforced disappearances began during Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's rule: Mahfuz Alam. Advisor Mahfuz Alam stated, "Enforced disappearances began during Sheikh Mujib's regime.
The authoritarianism that Sheikh Mujib wanted to implement has been realized by Sheikh Hasina." He made these remarks to reporters at the inaugural ceremony of "Youth Festival 2025" at PIB in the capital on Tuesday morning (February 18).
Advisor Mahfuz Alam said that Sheikh Mujib tortured opponents in the same way that Sheikh Hasina has done.
Using state funds, Sheikh Hasina nurtured goons at various levels of the administration.
Mahfuz Alam remarked, "The people's demand for reform in the country has not yet been fulfilled.
From the government's side, we are trying to ensure justice." Referring to the large-scale project of rescuing this nation, Mahfuz Alam said that merely holding elections and making reforms will not be enough.
The government is making significant efforts to build a new state.
